What are the criteria to participate?
  • Preferably be a sophomore or junior in high school; however, seniors are also accepted.
  • Be sponsored by your local Rotary Club.
  • Live within southern Minnesota or western Wisconsin. -Understand the value of building your leadership potential.
  • Be active in high school or community activities.
  • Be willing to talk about your Camp experience at a Rotary Club meeting or a school class.
 
What do students need to do?
  • Go to How to Apply section of this website and follow directions.
  • Students do not need tuition, transportation or the highest grades in class.
  • Bring fun, full, enthusiastic participation to get the most out of Camp.
  • Be willing to experience interpersonal dynamics and team problem solving which will be more critical than one's physical capabilities.
  • Drugs, alcohol or tobacco are not permitted. Those not adhering to this policy will be sent home immediately.
If you have been accepted for Camp RYLA...
You must complete and submit the health form and application forms prior to your Camp arrival. Also review guidelines and checklists located in the left sidebar.  These should go to your counselor or principal or to your local friendly Rotary club.
