Nananko Nagaishi, our latest youth exchange student from Nagasaki, Japan, arrived in Minnesota Tuesday night and was greeted by Linda Mulhern, her husband, Jerry, daughter Emma and Sherry Howe.  The Mulherns are Nanako's first host family.

Nanako is the 40th student to participate in our sister city exchange.  She will be a junior at Highland Park. She wants to improve her English and work on peace studies while here.

Her parents are bankers and she has a younger sister. Nanako has been trained as a classical ballet dancer.

Host families are still needed.  If you are interested in hosting Nanako for a three to four month period over the next year and would like additional information contact Linda Mulhern (lmulhern@collinsmn.com) or Mary Britts (mary.britts@ymcatwincities.org).
