The 2012  elections are heating up and for many the stakes are significant in terms of where they take the country and the state of Minnesota.  But who is going to win and what will it mean?  This talk will examine the issues, people, and forces driving the 2012 elections, offering predictions on who will win and why and what it will mean for 2013 and beyond.

David Schultz is Hamline University Professor in the School of Business who teaches election law and American politics.  He is the author of more than 25 books and 90 articles on American politics, including his forthcoming American Politics in the Age of Ignorance.  Professor Schultz is a frequent political analyst whose comments have appeared in the NY Times, Wall Street Journal, and other local, national, and international media.
