Rotation Day Site Visits

Instead of gathering at the Crowne Plaza at noon for our usual weekly meeting, members had the choice of learning about two Saint Paul businesses. 
 

ImageCaptain Jim Kosmo hosted members at the Padelford Packet Boat Company on a beautiful spring day and showed them what the riverboats look like today. He described how the business has adapted to our changing world and gave them a look into the operational end.

ImagePatricia Mitchell, President and CEO of the Ordway Theatre for the Performing Arts, talked about the Ordway and its programs and also about their Arts Partnership concert hall construction project. Following Patricia's comments Julia Erickson, their Assistant Director of Production, took the group on a tour. The tour included an visit to the catwalks (the grid way up in the ceiling, above the heads of the audience and above the stage) for those who were brave enough to participate.
