Fellowship Day

Fellowship Day was held at the White Bear Yacht Club and began with lunch in their beautiful second floor Commodore room overlooking the lake.  
 
 

IImagen spite of the threat of rain, the first of 28 golfers teed off at 1:30 p.m.  Some played medalist and others played best ball scramble.  The foursome of Doug Bruce, Jim Kosmo, Scott Van and Shamus O’Meara came in first in the scramble competition for the second year in a row. 

John Chandler, Mark Henneman, Jay Pfaender and Chuck Whitaker played tennis. The trophy was won by the team of John and Mark.  Image

Kathleen Riley and Larry Morgan rode their bikes around White Bear Lake for a total of 12 miles and still looked fresh and strong when they returned.

 

ImageYvonne Ekdahl, Dennis Boom, Francis Luikart and Kathy Warren played bridge.  Francis and Kathy were the winners.  Later, Francis, Kathy, Yvonne and Sherry Howe played a few games of 500.  Yvonne and Sherry took the prize for that one.

 

ImageAt 5:30 p.m. everyone returned to the Commodore room for happy hour and dinner followed by the awards ceremony.

 

Fellowship Day has traditionally been held the first Tuesday in June so mark your calendars for Tuesday, June 3, 2014 and plan to attend.
