Bryan and Marytina Lawrence raise turf grass, alfalfa, corn and approximately 200 Hereford beef cattle on their 500-acre family farm near Princeton, Minnesota.

Bryan is a third-generation family farmer. Both he and Marytina were raised in agriculture, and they have been farming together for over 17 years.

Growing up on a farm taught both Bryan and Marytina the importance of the crops farmers raise. Those crops not only feed their own family, but feed and produce food for other people.

Farming is more than a job to the Lawrences it’s a lifestyle. Bryan has a bachelor of science degree in agricultural business administration, and Marytina has a bachelor of science degree in animal science and a master’s degree in agricultural communications.

They are actively involved with the Sherburne County Farm Bureau, Minnesota Turf Association, the Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Association and the Minnesota Hereford Breeders Association.

Bryan and Marytina have four children who are actively involved on the farm as well: Montana, Wyatt, Wade and Wynn. The children take an active role in raising and showing cattle every year and enjoy every opportunity to help their parents share their farming story.
