David Tentis, head golf pro at Troy Burne Golf Club in Hudson, Wisc., Tentis has been the head golf pro at Troy Burne since 2005. Previously he was the business manager and golf course architect at Tanners Brook Golf Club in Forest Lake, director of golf and project manager at Mississippi Dunes Golf Links in Cottage Grove, and a professional golfer on the PGA TOUR (1989 – 1990), Canadian Tour and Australian Tour.

 

Tentis is a three-time Minnesota Tournament of Champions Winner, Minnesota Section PGA Champion, Minnesota State Open Champion, Minnesota State Amateur Champion, four-time Tapemark Charity Champion, Canadian Tour Champion and Dakota Tour Champion. He competed in the 2002 PGA Championship at Hazeltine National Golf Club, as well as the 2003, 2004 and 2005 PGA Championships, the 1984 Masters and the 1984 U.S. Open.  Last week Tentis finished tied 8th at the PNC (Professional National Championship) which qualifies him to compete in his 5th PGA Championship from August 7th - 10th at Valhalla in Louisville, Kentucky.
