Fellowship Breakfast, Gordon Lindquist will speak at
next week’s Tuesday meeting.

White encouraged members to join the Rotoract Networking Club at Summit Brewing
on Thursday Jan 12 from 6-8pm.
Blaine
Niven was introduced as a new member to the Club.
Al
Zdradil announced the Elmer L Anderson Award presented to Vicki Gee-Treft for
financial contributions to the St Paul Rotary Foundation.

Kosmo received happy dollar announcements from the Club.
Kathleen
Riley introduced the day’s speaker, Cynthia Erickson of Fuller Center for
Housing on Building Homes in Armenia. She gave background on Armenia’s location in
the Near East and history. Fuller
Center was founded by Habitat for Humanity founders. Ms. Erickson described a home building
project outside Yerevan to help displaced Armenians, and the family with whom
the home building project worked. Ms.
Fuller also talked about the greater problem of displaced people in
the
communities they visited. She also
described the work of other NGO’s doing work in Armenia, and significant
cultural sites.
