FROM THE MAIL BAG:
Thank you letters from students
Below are a few of the letters we received from third grade students thanking us for the dictionaries they received from our Club. There are a few misspellings but for the most part they’re putting their new dictionaries to good use.
Dear Rotary Club,
You are sooo awesome!!! I now know almost every word in my dictionary. My dictionary is a great tool for school and gift. Plus now I know that polio is a disease not a game. You guys have a generous organization. Thanks for visiting. We hope you come again.
Sincerely,
Mari
Dear Rotary Club,
Thank you for the lovely dictionary that you gave us. It is a school tool that I will use greatly. It pleases me that you give fresh clean water to people who don’t have it. My grandpa Ross was a member of the Madison, Wisconsin Rotary Club.
Yours truly,
Niamh
Dear Rotary Club,
I really enjoyed your visit. I really appreciated the dictionary. I can now sing Fifty Nifty thanks to your states of the U.S. page! What’s it like to go around the world giving third graders dictionaries! I hope to grow my brain with mine!
Sincerely,
Anna
