Rene Sanchez, the Editor of the Star Tribune, will speak about how the Star Tribune, the largest news organization in Minnesota, is changing, what its priorities are, and how it is balancing the preferences of print and digital readers.
Rene Sanchez became the Editor of the Star Tribune in October of last year. Prior to that, he had been the Star Tribune’s Managing Editor for five years. He joined the newspaper a decade ago, after spending 17 years as a metro and national reporter at the Washington Post. He is a native of New Orleans, but loves Minnesota (even the winter), in part because his wife and her family are from Dakota County.
