Rotation Day, Whitaker Sports
Thirty Rotarians joined Chuck Whitaker at his new business venture, Whitaker Sports and Import Cars. Chuck provided a wonderful lunch and then described his personal background in the Automotive Sales. Chuck started as a teenager working for his father at Whitaker Buick in St. Paul on University Avenue. Eventually he started his own venture with Whitaker Lincoln Mercury in Inver Grove Heights.
After selling his business a few years back, he decided to enter the Import Used car business in 2014. After one year, he is selling over 25 cars a month mostly BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Lexus, and a variety of other brands with low mileage, 2-3 years old with warranty remaining. He has over 80 vehicles in a nice warehouse and receives 100% of his customers via his website or referral. We toured the warehouse and met his mechanic who preps, evaluates, and cleans his vehicles. Chuck wants everyone to check his website for current inventory and call if they can’t find it, he will help you.
