Jim Eppel has held a variety of leadership positions within local healthcare organizations, including provider entities and managed care organizations. Jim assumed the role of President and CEO effective June of this year. UCare serves 500,000 members in Minnesota and western Wisconsin, focusing on Medicare-eligible individuals, individuals and families enrolled in MinnesotaCare and Medical Assistance, individuals with disabilities and families choosing coverage through MNsure, the new insurance marketplace.
Health care is a discipline that impacts, or will impact, virtually all of us at some point – or multiple points – in our lives. In this talk, Jim will discuss the current issues, trends and solutions that are driving the rapid evolution of today’s healthcare marketplace.
