Each year the Rotary Club of Saint Paul presents a "Teacher of the Year" award to a deserving educator. This year the award for outstanding performance in K-12 education will be given to Amy Hewett-Olatunde, EdD, a teacher at LEAP High School.

In a letter supporting Hewett-Olatunde's nomination, Sam DiVita wrote "She finds ways to advocate for her students and then teaches and supports them as they learn to advocate for themselves. She does this all while celebrating their strengths."

Saint Paul Public School Superintendent, Valeria Silva, will also speak
