Right Track provides jobs and internships for Saint Paul youth who are from low-income families or have barriers to employment. Youth work with in a variety of industries with a large number of different such as Wells Fargo, Ecolab, Travelers, Saint Paul Parks & Recreation, the Science Museum of Minnesota, the Boy & Girls Club and dozens more. In 2015, Right Track provides over 800 Saint Paul youth with jobs and internships. Youth grossed over $1,000,000 in wages collectively, a significant amount for those most in need and a direct economic impact to our city.

 

Trenton Henspeter, Right Track Director, City of Saint Paul started his work in Saint Paul as a volunteer at Palace Recreation Center on the West End helping coordinate youth sports and athletics at the center. Little did he know that his volunteering would turn into a job and eventually a career. During his time with the City of Saint Paul, Trenton has worked at recreation centers, coordinated senior citizen programs and for the last 5 years he has worked with the City of Saint Paul's Right Track youth employment program. Trenton is passionate about public service and considers the work of Right Track to be the ultimate public service.
