Cecile Bedor has served as the Executive Vice President of GREATER MSP since May 2014. Prior to joining the organization, she served for eight years as the City of Saint Paul's Director of Planning and Economic Development (PED) - the longest tenure of any PED Director. During that time, she also served as the Executive Director of the City's Housing and Redevelopment Authority.

 

Prior to joining the City, she was the Director of Partnerships and Development for the Minneapolis Public Library, overseeing the system’s marketing and communications; community library capital projects; community partnerships; and served as the liaison to the Friends of the Minneapolis Public Library.

Ms. Bedor earned her BA from the University of Minnesota, with majors in Economics and English.  She serves on various community boards, including Hope Community (a local CDC), and Lambda Alpha.
