The Rotary Foundation’s Group Study Exchange (GSE) program is a unique cultural and vocational exchange opportunity for businesspeople and professionals between the ages of 25 and 40 who are in the early stages of their careers. The program provides travel grants for teams to exchange visits in paired areas of different countries. For four to six weeks, team members experience the host country's culture and institutions, observe how their vocations are practiced abroad, develop personal and professional relationships, and exchange ideas. A team from Rotary District 5960 will be leaving for Salvador, Bahia on April 7th and will be greeted by the incoming team members.

The theme of the GSE from Brazil coming to MN/WI is “Sustainability” which covers several professional areas; law, design, architecture, nutrition and education. Northfield has a unique opportunity to meet and host this specially selected team of five; the only Rotarian is the team leader, Sergio. They are on tour in the metro area for four weeks.

Northfield is the Inbound Teams first stop Friday, March 23, through Wednesday, March 28.
