Dr. Ann Frisch will be our speaker in observance of Human Rights Day. She will be speaking about Rotarians' involvement in the drafting of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights from the RI Havana International Convention to its signing in 1948. You are encouraged to read this document: the gold standard of agreement by nations that we will respect and protect Human Rights.

You might consider which right touches you today?  Which right surprises you?  Which right could you cheerfully live without?  What right would you add to the UDHR?

We were there to make this happen.  How might we continue to further the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and other conventions such as the Convention on the Rights of the Child, rights of children in war, rights of disabled, etc?

Please be a part of this discussion by reading this short but powerful document.
